A.J. Iuele is a partner at Stenger, Glass, Hagstrom, Lindars & Iuele LLP and joined the firm in 2020 to oversee our family law and criminal law teams.
Prior to Stenger, Glass, Hagstrom, Lindars & Iuele LLP, A.J. spent four years as an Assistant District Attorney at the Orange County District Attorney’s Office. A.J.’s tenure as a prosecutor has been followed by over a decade in private practice as solo practitioner, Associate Attorney at Greher Law Offices, P.C. and Associate Attorney at Law Office of Dennis R. Vetrano, Jr., LLC. A.J. has achieved numerous accomplishments in all aspects of litigation, including many high-profile cases. He has litigated thousands of cases both as prosecutor and defense counsel. A.J. was named to Super Lawyer’s 2020 list of Rising Stars.
A.J.’s vast trial record has afforded him the knowledge and experience to handle even the most contentious of cases. His family and matrimonial practice has grown exponentially, and his representation has involved complex legal and financial issues and vast marital estates as well as more modest matters. A.J. has handled local, national, and international custody and visitation disputes, prenuptial, postnuptial and separation agreements, cohabitation agreements, paternity proceedings, same-sex family law issues, post-divorce modification, and enforcement proceedings as well as other matters. A.J. has trial experience involving issues of equitable distribution, spousal support, custody, visitation/parental access, child support, post-divorce enforcement and modification actions in Supreme Court. A.J. has litigated all forms of criminal matters from low-level violations and misdemeanors to homicides, as both a prosecutor and defense attorney.

A.J. is a lifelong resident of Dutchess County, graduating from John Jay Senior High School in East Fishkill, NY. After obtaining his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from SUNY Albany and his Juris Doctorate from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, he returned to the area in 2006 to embark upon his legal career.
