If your license was issued on or after January 15, 2013, the deadline to re-certify is five years after the date the permit was issued. While you can do the process yourself online, or mail it in (see the link below), you may want to have an attorney help you through the process to get it done correctly.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>If you have any changes that need to be made to your permit, such as change of address, adding or removing a pistol or are selling your pistols, you will need to contact the sheriff\u2019s office prior to re-certifying.
