The letter accuses the receiver of failing to pay taxes and threatens to seize the resident\u2019s property and to garnish wages or social security benefits for non-payment.<\/p>\n

Here’s an example of the letter:<\/p>\n

\"Fraudulent[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”25px”][vc_column_text]\"Stephen<\/a>Signed by a phony resolution officer, with a fake County Seal, the letter appears to be official at first glance and urges the receiver to call the toll-free number to make a payment in order to avoid further legal action.<\/p>\n
